Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA
Photographer: Liz Charney

My first time in Yellowstone was filled with foggy mornings and cool crisp nights. It was a perfectly cozy way to spend an October weekend out West with one of my best adventuring gal-pals and both of us were amazed at the variety of wildlife and geological features within the park. Yellowstone is unique in that a large number of the main attractions are ADA accessible, allowing visitors of all physical abilities to get up close and personal to some of nature’s biggest wonders. While my friend and I did not always utilize the ramps, their presence was a kind reminder that everyone has a right and a need to experience the beauty and awe of the wilderness.
